Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes with Smart Play Pro+ music system like earlier but the quality is enhanced to fit the stature of this ultra modern SUV. Broadly the Grand Vitara comes in two forms, the smart hybrid and the intelligent hybrid respectively. The smart hybrid form has 4 versions like Sigma+, Delta+, Zeta+, Alpha+ while the intelligent hybrid form has 2 variants namely Zeta+ Plus and Alpha+ Plus. The Alpha+ and Alpha Plus + are the top end variants and represent the flagship models of the Grand Vitara.
The top end manual transmission comes with 5 speed and automatic transmission with 6 speed systems. The base petrol engine comes with 1462cc that powers 103.06 PS @ 6000rpm and with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm @ 4400rpm. The base electric hybrid engine comes with 1490cc that powers 92.45 PS @ 5500 rpm and with a peak torque of 122 Nm@ 4400 - 4800rpm. The alpha plus + variant comes with a hybrid electric AC Synchronous motor backed by Lithium Ion batteries with a voltage of 177.6 V. The electric version generates a maximum power of 59KW @ 3995rpm with a peak torque of 141Nm @ 0-3995rpm. The front brakes are ventilated disc and the rear solid disc.
